Not only do these programs teach the technical basics of diving but also enhance children’s safety, confidence, and environmental awareness. Kids learn how to protect marine life and dive responsibly. The course places special emphasis on understanding underwater ecosystems, providing both fun and educational experiences.
Diving can spark a lifelong passion, and programs designed for children provide the perfect introduction to this fascinating world.
Prerequisite: Ability to swim and water safety.
Theoretical training: Independently, with the help of online study materials. (Before each practical session, we always review the theoretical knowledge.)
Practical training: A minimum of 6 pool/confined water sessions.
Maximum diving depth: 2 meters
Dive duration: 20-25 minutes per session
Junior Open Water Diver (JOWD) Course
Children aged 10 and above can start their diving journey with this course, gradually exploring the underwater world. While they receive study materials designed for adults, both theoretical and practical training are adapted to their body structure and endurance. During the course, children will learn the proper use of diving equipment and participate in multiple practical sessions, where they can safely develop their diving skills. By the end of the course, they will be able to dive confidently in various aquatic environments, such as pools and shallow open water.
Children aged 10-15 who complete the course can dive to a depth of up to 12 meters under the supervision of an instructor or dive leader. During the dives, special emphasis is placed on following safety protocols and mastering proper breathing techniques. Young divers will learn how to handle their equipment and take care of their dive buddies underwater.

Practical training: A minimum of 6 pool/confined water sessions.
Maximum diving depth up to age 15: 12 meters
Dive duration: 25-30 minutes per session
From the age of 15, kids can officially earn the Open Water Diver (OWD) certification, allowing them to dive to depths of up to 18 meters.
During the theoretical training, students will learn essential diving knowledge through online study materials. The course provides a detailed overview of the operation and maintenance of diving equipment, ensuring participants gain a thorough understanding of the gear needed for safe diving.
The practical training consists of two parts: pool/confined water sessions and open water dives. The pool/confined water sessions focus on learning and practicing fundamental skills in a safe, controlled environment. Participants will learn how to properly use diving equipment, maintain buoyancy underwater, and communicate effectively with their dive buddies.
During the open water dives, students will apply the skills learned in the pool in a real aquatic environment. These dives can take place in freshwater lakes, ocean bays, or other natural bodies of water.
During training, special emphasis is placed on following safety protocols: mastering proper breathing techniques, and handling equipment correctly. This ensures that participants can dive confidently and safely in various aquatic environments. Young divers will also learn how to look after their dive buddies underwater and practice responsible diving, considering marine life and environmental impact.
Maximum diving depth for ages 15 and above with OWD certification: 18 meters
